The marriage took place at St. John the Baptist, Norwich, on Saturday of Mr. Michael Walter Bonn, son of Major and Mrs. Walter Bonn, of the Grove, St. Lawrence, Jersey, and Miss Elizabeth Mary Buxton, daughter of Major and Mrs. Anthony Buxton, of Horsey Hall, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. The Roman Catholic Bishop of Northampton officiated, assisted by Father S. Webb, S. J., and Father A. de Zulueta. The bride who was given away by her father, wore a gown of ivory taffeta with a train of Limerick lace and her tulle veil was held in place by orange blossom. She was attended by two pages - Peter Maxwell and Robin Barclay - who carried her train and wore the Fraser and Barclay kilt, four child bridesmaids - Harriet Davidson, Priscilla Blount, Elizabeth Anne Holford, and Caroline Butler - and by five grown-up bridesmaids - Miss Jean and Miss Judy Buxton (sisters of the bride), Miss Diana Maxwell, and Miss Mary Bridgeman (cousins of the bride), and Lady Anne-Louise Keppel - all of whom wore white organdie dresses and carried crimson roses. Mr. Christopher Bonn was best man. A reception was held at Carrow Abbey. |
