FUNERAL
Sir Andrew Lusk
The funeral of Sir Andrew Lusk took place yesterday.
The first part of the service was held at St. John's Church, Southwick-crescent, the Rev. E. P. Anderson, the vicar, officiating.

Sir John Pound, who was unable to be present, sent his carriage.

There were between 30 and 40 wreaths sent by friends and city institutions.
The interment took place at Kensal-green Cemetery.
A memorial service was held at the church of St. Katherine Cree, Leadenhall-street.
There was a large congregation, including Alderman Sir John and Lady Pound and many of the leading imhabitants, besides a representation of the staff of Sir Andrew's firm in the city.
The service was conducted bt the Rev. Joseph Miles, the rector.

WILLS AND BEQUESTS
The Will of Sir Andrew Lusk
Sir Andrew Lusk, Lord Mayor of London in 1874,for many years head of the firm of Andrew Lusk and Co., left estate of the value of £96,659 13s. 1d. gross, and £96,301 14s. 3d net.
In addition to numerous bequests to members of his family, clerks, and servants, the testator (says the City Press) left
£500 to the vicar and churchwardens of St. John's, Paddington;
£1,000 each to the Royal Asylum of St. Anne's Society, the Merchant Seaman's Orphan Asylum, the Infant Orphan Asylum, Wanstead, the Reedham Orphanage, the Corporation of the Sons of the Clergy, the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel in Foreign Parts, and the Church Missionary Society;
£500 to the London Orphan Asylum, Watford, the Orphan Working School, Haverstockhill, the Scottish Corporation, the Royal Caledonian Asylum, the Additional Curates' Society, the Shipwrecked Fishermen and Mariners' Royal Benevolent Society, the Asylum for Idiots, Earlswood, the Royal Alfred Aged Merchant Seamen's Institution, the Royall Hospital for Incurables, the Bishop of London's Fund, the Corporation of the Church House, the Greenock Hospital and Infirmary, the Established Church of Scotland (Foreign Mission), the English and Foreign Bible Socoety, and the Sunday School Union; and
£200 to the Greenock Seamen's Friendly Society.
